You can now register for Summer and Fall Classes. You can drop off registration forms at Yorktown Stage the week of Monday, May 13 through Saturday, May 18. You can also visit the studio during our Open Registration Days on Wednesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 30 from 4-7 pm. Click the links below for the forms and schedules:

Advanced Class Audition: Thursday, June 6 from 6:30 to 8pm
Audition Fee: $10.00 ($5.00 for current Adv. Students)
June Classes: ** No registration required; pay by the class ($15.00/class) **
Class 1: Beg/Intermediate Ballet (Ages 9 to 12 or current Beg3/4 to Int2):
Monday, June 10 and Thursday, June 13 from 5:00 – 6:15pm
Class 2: Teen/Adult Int. – Adv. Ballet (Ages 11 and up or current Int2 – Adv):
Mondays: June 3, 10, 17 from 6:15 to 7:45
Tuesdays: June 4, 11, 18 from 6:15 to 7:45
Wednesdays: June 5, 12, 19 from 6:15 to 7:45
Thursdays: June 13, 20 from 6:15 to 7:45
Class 3: Core Work (Teen/Adult Ages 11 and up or current Int2 – Adv)

Summer Workshops: Intensive dance experience for our more serious dancers
Guest instructors to include Nicole Graniero (ABT dancer), Deanna Ford (former Rockette), and others
Min. group size = 10; Max group size = 25 (register soon to guarantee a space!)
NOTE: Workshops will be cancelled if minimum size is not met by June 30.
Technique Intensive (current Int1-Adv): August 12-16 1:30 – 4:00 Tuition: $250
- Core work and then a two hour ballet class focused on technique.
Dance Camp (ages 8-11): August 12-16 1:30 – 4:00 Tuition: $250
- Ballet, jazz, character dance, improvisation, choreography and all things dance.
- Fun and interactive week culminating in a performance on Friday.
Dance Intensive (current Int1-Adv): August 19-23 11:00 – 1:30/2:00 – 4:00* Tuition: $450
- Core work followed by a ballet class in the mornings.
- Afternoons will include guest instructors for different dance forms including pointe work, variations (with Nicole Graniero), partnering, ‘Rockette’ style dance, jazz, modern, contemporary, anatomy, injury prevention, character dance, stage makeup, and performance.
- Includes a demonstration for parents on Friday during the last part of the day.
*Supervision supplied for 1:30-2:00 lunch break
Both weeks: August 12-23 Tuition: $650
NOTE: Company solo coaching will be available August 12-23 after 4:00 by appointment
Summer Workshop Registration Form 2013
Dance for Joy will be closed Monday, March 25 – Saturday, March 30. Classes resume on Monday, April 1. There will be no more make up classes for First Steps, Pre-Ballet and Beginner 1&2 after April 6.
We will have office hours during Spring Break on the following days:
Monday, March 25 2-4 pm
Tuesday, March 26 4-6 pm
Wednesday, March 27 1-3 pm
Thursday, March 28 4-6 pm
Youth Ballet Company will be performing Saturday, March 23 at 2pm at Mahopac High School as part of the Mahopac Dance Company’s Annual Cause for Paws. Tickets are $7 at the door. Bring a can of pet food and get entered into a raffle to win prizes! This event showcases local dance studios and high schools dancing to raise money for the Putnam Humane Society! Come out and help Youth Ballet Company support a great cause. Mahopac High School is loactaed at 421 Baldwin Place Road in Mahopac, NY. read more →
