• Has performed as a tap dancer  in many venues including the The Paramount Theatre in Peekskill,S.O.B’s in Manhattan, Aaron Davis Hall in Harlem, NY.
  • As a member of the Tap City Youth Ensemble, has performed in over 30 different gala events for American Tap Dance Foundation (ATDF).
  • Specialties in tap include improvisation, audience inclusion and music arrangement.

Roberta Humphrey, Director (Ballet)
  • Ed.M. Harvard University, focus on childhood development
  • Early training with mom, Jean Humphrey, who danced with Radio City Music Hall Ballet
  • Trained in Boston (Cambridge School of Ballet, Radcliffe Dance, Boston Ballet Theater) and New York (David Howard)
  • Over 15 years touring with New England Ballet/Edra Toth and the Dance Prism
  • Over 40 years teaching experience.

Marcus Franklin (Tap)

Samantha Confalone(Jazz, Ballet)

  • Studied at Dance For Joy, where she studied for 13 years
  • BA in Secondary Education from Manhattanville College
  • BA in Mathematics from Manhattanville College
  • Working on Masters in Secondary Special Education at Manhattanville College 
  • Holds a BA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College. Caren is also part of the faculty at Purchase College, SUNY teaching Dance Fitness. She is also the Performing Arts Coordinator for the Youth and Precollege Programs in the Arts on the Purchase campus.
  • As a choreographer, Caren has choreographed musicals for Scarsdale High School, White Plains Middle School, Purchase Youth Theater and the Playgroup Theater.
  • Caren's performance career includes dancing with Kinetic Dance Theater, appearing as a dancer on the AMC Series "Into Character: Dirty Dancing", and in the Off- Broadway Musical "Still on the Corner.
