Youth Ballet Company Members 2009-2010

(Results of October 17, 2009 auditon)

We had a large turnout this year and I hope you all understand that although everyone danced very well, we can not take that many into the company. Please come back and audition again next year if you did not get in! There will also be the opportunity soon to get on board for planning and fundraising for London 2012. There will be more information about that soon.

All listed below are invited to our kick off party/rehearsal on January 9 from 4:00 to 6:00. Wear a dark camisole leotard that day and I will take a company group photo. We will start rehearsals and have a pizza party

You will all need to get your company agreement at the desk after 11/2and return it by 11/16. You will receive a full rehearsal schedule soon. Please plan to be at the studio from 4:00 to 6:00 on almost all Saturdays after January 9.

Performance planning:

Ms Deanna's piece for Avery Fisher Hall

Only those who can kick to eye level with straight knees will be cast.
The piece will be set on an even number of dancers (24 or 28, possibly more).
Company Too! members will initially be understudies and will replace any of the other dancers who cannot get their kicks high enough.
