Youth Ballet Company
Additional Members for 2011-2012
Results of January 2011 auditon
Nine girls were selected to join the company for 2011-2012 with
the opportunity to go to London. They will not be dancing this school year, but WILL be fundraising.
They are: Ayanna Gibson, Meaghan Kaiser, Isabel Keane, Morgan McNamara,
Cara Murray, Eva Rabson, Erin Spedaliere, Amelia Spittal and Vicky Velazquez.
Results of March 2011 auditon
Mariana Silva will be joining the above group with the
opportunity to go to London.
Lauren Scinto will be the alternate.
It was impossible to select only 3 more from those auditioning. You all were so similar and danced
so well! I appreciate your interest and participation and hope that all of you will be in the company in the future.
The remaining girls will remain on my list for alternate positions, and I will re-audition this group either if someone
else drops out, or next spring to select those who will be the actual understudies. So you all still have a chance to
be an alternate.
The potential alternate list therefore, in alphabetical order is:
Megan Amundsen, Kassie Borhi, Tara Boyle, Nina Bradbury, Angela Ciacci, Erin Cuomo, Sophia
France, Meneka Makhijani, Nicolette Ribeiro, and Maya Webb. Alison Kissel will also be added to this group.
Youth Ballet Company
Members 2010-2011(Results of October 16,
2010 auditon)
We had the largest turnout ever this year and I hope you all understand
that although everyone danced very well, we can not take that many into the company. Those who did not make it into
the company this year are invited to be 'Supporters' and can sign up to join in our fundraising for London and help at studio
performance. Please come back and audition again next year to get on board for London 2012! Since everyone did
so well in the audition, I am not choosing a 2012'ers group but will instead look to next year's audition to fill
the remaining places in the group that goes to London.
Everyone listed below should attend the meeting at 4:00 on Saturday,
October 23, with their parents. You will get more information then, and receive your company agreement form which you
must sign and return. It will be your responsibility to check the company bulletin board in the studio often for further
information.
